Demonstrators, along with the Parents and relatives of the 43 missing students of the Ayotzinapa Teacher Training College Raul Isidro Burgos during a New Year’s Eve protest near Los Pinos presidential residence in Mexico City, Mexico on December 31, 2014. The relatives of the 43 missing students do not believe the official line that the young men are all dead. The 43 students went missing on Sept. 26 after confrontations in which police gunfire killed six people and wounded at least 25 in Iguala, in Guerrero state. Alexander Mora Venancio, one of the 43 Ayotzinapa’s missing students, has been identified and confirmed dead by authorities. Many are demanding justice and that the search for the 42 missing students continue until there is concrete evidence to the contrary. Mexico – officially - lists more than 20 thousand people as having gone missing since the start of the country's drug war in 2006, and the search for the missing students has turned up other, unrelated mass graves.
