Epifanio Alvarez, father of Jorge Alvarez Nava, one of the missing students, during a march to mark the three months since the disappearance of 43 Ayotzinapa’s teaching college students in Mexico City on December 26, 2014. The 43 students went missing on Sept. 26 after confrontations in which police gunfire killed six people and wounded at least 25 in Iguala, in Guerrero state. Alexander Mora Venancio, one of the 43 missing students of Ayotzinapa, has been identified and confirmed dead by authorities.  Many are demanding justice and that the search for the 42 missing students continue until there is concrete evidence to the contrary. Mexico – officially - lists more than 20 thousand people as having gone missing since the start of the country's drug war in 2006, and the search for the missing students has turned up other, unrelated mass graves. (Photo by Benedicte Desrus)
