General elections will be held in Kenya on 4 March 2013. They will be the first elections held under Kenya's new constitution, promulgated in 2010. The last Kenya's elections left more than 1000 people dead and 650,000 displaced. Presidential candidate Uhuru Kenyatta is facing charges of crimes against humanity at the International Criminal Court (ICC) for his role in inciting the 2007-2008 post-election violence.
