5 July 2009 - Tegucigalpa, Honduras Supporters of ousted Honduras' President Manuel Zelaya flee from tear gas and gun fire sent by soldiers at the international airport in Tegucigalpa. Zelaya turned back from an attempted return home on Sunday after soldiers clashed with his supporters as he tried to land, fueling tensions over the coup that toppled him. At least one person was killed and ten were badly wounded when protesters demanding the return of ousted Honduran President Manuel Zelaya clashed with troops at the Tegucigalpa airport.
