7 July 2012 - Mexico City, Mexico - Amidst thousands of demonstrators, famous Mexican artists calling themselves "ARTivists", denounce electoral fraud and buying of votes by the long ruling Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) before and during the July 1 national elections using SORIANA supermarket giftcards. Pena Nieto, who says the vote was clean and fair, won Mexico's July 1 election by almost 7 percentage points, according to the official count. The demonstrators, including students, leftists, anarchists and union members, shouted slogans criticizing Pena Nieto's Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), and the electoral authority.
