february 19, 2011 - Kampala, Uganda - Presidential candidate Kizza Besigye (2nd R) of Uganda's four-party opposition coalition, Inter-Party Cooperation (IPC), during a news conference at Party Headquarters in Kampala. Early returns from Uganda's presidential election showed President Yoweri Museveni with a huge lead over his nearest rival, making it likely he will extend his 25-year hold on power. With 17 percent of the vote counted, Museveni had about 71 percent of the ballots cast. Kizza Besigye, had about 22 percent of the votes. Photo credit: Benedicte Desrus
