23 may 2010 - Western Equatoria State, South Sudan - People displaced by the LRA settle near Tambura. A spate of continuing LRA attacks in Western Equatoria State has pushed thousands of families to flee from their village to larger towns to seek protection. Many villagers carry machetes or weapons for self-defense since the attacks. Western Equatoria state has been rocked by LRA activities since 2006.
